This made me think a little bit. Which Doctor? Which habit? Did this mean a catchphrase or something?
But here’s my answer: Patrick Troughton’s hand gestures.
Whether he’s surrendering.
Or trying to be subtle:
Or thinking.
Or pleasantly surprised- usually by himself.
Or when being excited.
Or when traveling with his favorite Highlander.
Or just talking.
